Getting ready for the Snow!
You may have noticed in the November posting, that the west gable was long overdue for maintenance. Well this month we are reassembling it. Note 'The Inspector' ever observing all.

Well the pile is getting down on the ground and up on the gable.

It got a bit chilly during the night and there was a reasonable frost.

We later learned that it got down to -6, yeah that would explain why it was so darn cold!

This gives an idea of what it looked like by mid afternoon. Note that I am defnitely not wearing that purple T shirt and am seriously rugged up against the wind.

The progress so far.

The 'Inspector' with a new wash and cut, kinda like an Afghan or Mister Fuzz.

Early morning fog over Lismore before the start of the Humpback Whale Photo Workshop.

The handiman racing up the middle.

The furniture standard has been increased and more comfortable too.

This weekend we started on the corregated wall behind the bed to plug a few breezes but ended up replacing the sisalation (minus bird nests) caulking the holes and adding insulation.

Now why would you not trust a sweet poodle like me to run off after the roos or the fox?

Ya just gotta ge stuck into a lamb shank.

Crimson Rosellas queing for a drink from the guttering.

A brisk morning to insulate the bottom edge, with snow on the distant peaks.

Hi I am Dara.

and I am Bob!

The progress so far and of course with Bob & Dara flanking the doorway.
